| 15 | IBM | For this ITB, IBM is planning to respond with a direct response so the individual schools can purchase directly from IBM. My question is as follows: We have business partners who can resell our products. If we do a direct response, can individual business partners respond directly to the ITB? Or does IBM need to submit two bids (one direct and one for our business partners) where the second bid list the individual business partners who can resell our product? | IBM may respond to the bid and have their business partners listed as authorized resellers. Both enties would be able to provide the products or services in this case. In the event that Authorized Resellers wish to submit individual bids they must get the approval of the manufacturing company and meet all of the guidelines cited in the RFP. Section 2.8.13 and 2.8.14 list these requirements. All of the requirements of the RFP must be met by all bidding parties. Please note that only one bidder may be selected by the committee though.
