Questions from Vendors |
Notes to Prospective
Vendors/Bidders:
- Interested vendors or bidders must meet strict
specifications including a current ISO-9001 certification to respond
to any bids issued through ALJP.
- Product line requests are made by the School
System Technology Coordinators only. The form has been
provided to them and the information is now under review. As of,
October 27, 2006 that form for these requests has been removed so an
evaluation can take place.
- The Alabama Department of Education does not
maintain a "State Bid List" we do administer the ALJP programs as
requested by the school systems. We will send any resulting
ALJP bids to all vendors that complete an online form available at
www.ti.state.al.us/aljp2004 (or specifically
http://ti.alsde.edu/bidlist/bidlistALJP2004b.asp ). (NOTE:
all notifications have been sent to those indicated in list on
11/17/2006. There will be no more email notifications from
this list for the ALJP2007 ITB. Vendors not listed on the data
list should include their company by completing the form but
download a copy of the ALJP2007 ITB using the link above.) We also ask
that you use an additional link on that page ( or specifically
http://ti.alsde.edu/bidlist/bidderslist_submit.asp ) to verify
your information. All other State or Local School Bid
processes are still the responsibility of those individual
organizations. Adding of your company's information to the
ALJP list on the ALJP website does not guarantee any notification of
bids in any other organization except for those bids related to ALJP
only.

I wanted to know why our computers were not on the list of LEA group? We are ISO-9001 certified we are on the JPA for the Alabama college system. as a pc manufacture. This is why we wanted on this agreement. |
All technology coordinators for the Public K-12 School Systems in Alabama were polled for their input in the product lines to be included in the ITB. If a product line was not entered or requested by a count of least 2 then the product line then it was not added. This program has no relation to the college system program. (11/21/2006) |
